Why participate in a Strava Challenge.

Many of you may be wondering why Strava has become what we all know today.

It's very simple. Combine a number of elements:
  • the need to be on the move
  • the desire to show the best of us
  • the technology at our fingertips
  • the desire to feel part of a group

For many of us these aspects are everyday. But let's try to think back to when Strava didn't exist: people used to share their training with a small group of people, often not at the same level and always running the same tracks.

Today, thanks to this platform, it's possible to get in touch with a circle of people at the same level of training and discover new routes to vary your training and find motivation every time.

Challenging the times of our own circle also pushes us to constantly improve. Thanks to the introduction of the STRAVA CHALLENGES, the involvement of people has been taken to a higher level.

Creating an event that is open to everyone, where participants are pushed to do their best to get on the winner's podium makes it even more interesting.

With Strava you can participate in multiple Challenges at once, challenge yourself and others, and if you reach your goal receive a prize raffled off by your favorite brand.

We had the pleasure of sharing our idea with Joe Weitz (Partner Europe Manager) who allowed us to fully understand the potential of the challenges and where this new way of doing sport will take us.

While we try to contribute and improve this industry, we continue to train and experiment with new ways to mix business and passion.
